Easter

After botching Easter last year and being in Spring Break, we had to do it up right this year. So glad to be able to teach these two about the most significant holiday.
I took this picture after the church egg hunt. Do you see the image of the empty tomb?

Another Adventure

Tony is always keeping us on our toes as he seeks out new opportunities. Complacency has never taken up root with him. He has never been afraid to go for it when he sees something that can offer new experiences.  He leads our family and will soon be leading an entire school. On 3/24/16, he got the call that he had been approved by the BOE as the new principal of Colham Ferry Elementary School. (While we were at Bingo night!)

He didn't begin his teaching career with administration and leadership as his goal, but through different roles, he saw that maybe he would be a good fit for leading and motivating others. And now here he is being welcomed to his new school.

I couldn't be more proud! I never pictured myself as the principal's wife, but will do my best to support him in his new role.

Baseball Boy

I am not sure which sport he loves the most, but I sure do like seeing him in a uniform. He is a Pirate this year!

Dance

This girl has been to two dances now. (Unofficially she has been to all of them). She looks forward to a special night with her daddy.
And I love it when my daddy stops by too!

10 and 7

And just like that I have already planned 17 birthday parties! I should be a pro by now. I am still reeling from the effects of making and implementing plans. But I survived yet another round. And these two are growing up right before my eyes!

Rush with friends. Subway with family.

Paint party with friends. Rachel's with family.

Until next year party planning!

Princess Pearl

With the two year anniversary of the loss of CoCo approaching, I can honestly say that my heart has healed from that wrenching pain. This little girl has had a huge part in my healing.
I am her person, and she makes no secret of that as she follows in my every footstep at home. She also gives a growl warning to anyone who tries to come in between the two of us.  She rests best in my lap, and my lap doesn't feel complete without her there.

She is beautiful and she is loyal. She still can be a rascal, but her fine-dog moments outnumber her bad-dog deeds.

Love my Princess Pearl!

In the Blink of an Eye

With a new year comes a new realization that these cuties will be another year older. How can it be that Cam is almost 10 and our baby is 7? If my own childhood flew by this fast for my parents, it is no wonder they still drop everything to help me! In their eyes, I suppose I will always be their baby girl.
Maeve was so excited to wear this new outfit to school. She is doc going on sixteen!
We are glad Cam got some new hoodies. This is his daily uniform!
