A Dawg Kind of Day

Cam and Maeve were invited to go with Nonna and Pop to the Georgia game. It seemed like the perfect opportunity- almost fall, noon kickoff. This was the first time Maeve had been asked to go with them without having a parent accompany her . I guess she's officially easy now- it only took her almost five years!

Go big BLUE?

Never have we ever cheered for a blue team. But, I guess it is true that your kids will change you!

Excited about our first football season. #37 McCullers has learned a lot about the game. So glad he stuck his neck out and tried something new. He isn't the most aggressive player, but he knows what he is supposed to do. He has played mostly defense but some offense too. And, surprinsgly, none of his fans have been too anxious about the thought if him getting hurt.

Go BIG BLUE!!!

Splash and September

Enjoying the last bit of this season- splash style!

Love to see these two having a fun time together. I don't really know much about the bond of a brother and a sister, but I am learning a little bit about it through these two. I hope they will always be able to enjoy each other, be close, and share the love that only family can have.
I know for sure they will have lots of growing up memories to share- lots of laughs about the quirky things they remember about their parents! No, no no. I love YOU more!

Second Grade and Pre-K

One thing that makes me sad about summer's ending is that my babies are embarking into new phases and stages. A new school year means that they are getting further and further away from being babies.

Cam, the second grader, has moved up to the same teacher but has new people in his class. So far he loves it and jumps out of bed every morning. He is my time keeper and let's me know when we have to go in order to beat the buses. We don't get to pass each other in our day a much as we did last year, but just knowing he is in the same hall is priceless to me.

Maeve is going back to First Baptist Weekday school for the third year in a row. She has graduated from 2 days, to three, and now five days! I didn't move her to GA Pre-k because I loved knowing that she was already comfortable where she was. It also was less convenient since she couldn't ride over to me the way that Cam could. I also decided not to send her because this is only from 9:00-1:00. She is my baby and I couldn't yet bear for her to be in school all day everyday.

Here's hoping for a year full of growing in fun and in His favor!
