It Can Buy Me a Truck...🎶

In 2001 we made our first big purchase as a newlywed couple. Tony picked out his brand new red truck. We laughed then that it would be our family truck because it had four doors. Well sure enough it was! We got our money's worth out of this little red Tacoma truck. It doesn't have two car seats in it any longer but it has lots of great times!

And after looking and thinking for atleast a year, Tony was finally ready to make another truck purchase. It has everything he was wanting and more. We look forward to it being our new family truck with our big kids!

Parades

We went to our hometown parade, which is always cold and dark. We had two little girls who enjoyed all the sights! (R was not feeling well so he had to stay home.)

Then on Saturday morning, we hit up our new hometown parade and watched our football boy with his team.

We ❤️ parades!

Blessings aBound!

A surprise trip to Dollywood started off our Thanksgiving vacation. We loved the way it jumpstarted the holiday season for us. Even with its roller coasters, it was a wholesome place. All of the shows were centered around the true meaning of Christmas. We even got to enjoy a church service in the park on Sunday night. We lit a candle for our Resa Cup not knowing it would be her last night on earth.

We came home and prepared to feast. Terry had all four of his children and all 5 of his grands together for Thanksgiving. As you can see, he was glowing!
The babies enjoyed the holiday in typical style being busy and hungry!
We hosted for the first time at our house. Tony successfully smoked the turkey. It was the best Moo had ever eaten!

Thankful for all these times with these people I love so much.

Thankful

This first grade turkey stole our heats this week! She loved sharing her feast with Moo. We are so thankful she is loving school this year and learning so much. I have never been so excited to listen to a new reader (and I have listened to quite a few over the years)! And, yes, the outfits are still an obsession. I will theme her clothes as long as she will let me.

Our fourth grader is so thankful for a break. Fourth grade is the real deal. He studies each night for something- vocabulary, math, history, science. I will enjoy him and all of his "nineness" this week off. He is already trying to spend the night away from us and booking up his vacation time. He and Doo feasted together this week. I am sure they cleaned their plates.

Trick or Treat

Living the neighborhood life, we have lots of opportunity to have friends and family join us for some fun. This was post Titan 9U game and post GA game.

It was fun. It was chaotic. It was candy-filled. It was one for the record books!

Fall at Its Finest

I am bitter and disappointed that we don't get a fall break. It is such beautiful time of year. It's a shame that we can't savor the season a little more than we do as we tarry on through our regular routine. We found a few moments to soak up some fall fun.
