Maeve sprinkled "Jitter Glitter" under her pillow tonight and was just giddy about first grade. She kept asking, "Do you think it will work?" I made sure she wasn't expecting it to disappear and then wake up disappointed. She said, "no. Do you think it is going to make me not nervous?" I sure hope so, Baby Girl. She shared one piece of glitter with me under my pillow and another under Tony's. Precious school girl!
Cam on the other hand was a ball of nerves and sobs as he tucked. He blamed most of it on after school , but I think it is a combination of lots of new things. He has always needed a dress rehearsal for life.
As for Tony and me, we are just hoping we can find our balance in these new roles. Actually I am just hoping that I can get these little ones home safely once they are dropped off in my care. Oh and remember to do all the major things necessary on the first day.
